PHOTON PAVILION-S2H | OFFICE

Nestled in the rapidly expanding hub of Sarjapura, proximity Bangalore, Karnataka, PHOTON PAVILION S2H– Office stands as a compelling study in light, geometry, and spatial elegance. Designed to transcend the nature often associated with offices, this commercial structure merges contemporary minimalist architecture with highly expressive, daylight-driven interiors. The result is a professional environment that feels simultaneously expansive, grounded, and dynamically illuminated.

Architectural Concept: A Canvas for Natural Light

The architecture  revolves around a single, powerful unifying force: daylight.

  • The Skylight Grid: The definitive architectural signature of the building is its ceiling grid embedded with circular skylights. Arranged in precise, repetitive arrays alongside larger, singular circular punctures, these skylight modules transform the ceiling plane into a light cannon. They project shifting circular pools of sunlight across the interior surfaces throughout the day, constantly altering the ambiance and texture of the space.

  • Form & Elevation: Characterized by clean, angular lines and a low-profile silhouette, the structure opens itself to the surroundings through extensive floor-to-ceiling perimeter glazing. At night, the building’s lighting scheme reverses—turning the structure into an inviting, glowing lantern against the dark landscape.

  • Vertical Integration: The two-level interior is connected by a floating staircase design, maintaining visual continuity and allowing daylight from the upper level to penetrate deep into the lower volumes

Interior Spatial Experience

The interior layout balances open-plan collaboration with quiet executive zones, prioritizing fluidity and visual connectivity across levels.

  • Receptions & Lounge Areas: Grounded by plush, contrast-edged leather seating in deep black and crisp white, the waiting zones offer a luxurious modern feel. The smooth, light-reflective tiled floors catch both natural sky projections and artificial ambient lighting, creating an almost liquid surface underfoot.

  • Openness & Privacy: Glass partition walls with translucent graphic overlays divide functional zones without disrupting the flow of sightlines or daylight. This semi-transparent approach preserves acoustic privacy for offices while supporting an airy, collaborative workspace.

  • Dynamic Shadows: As sunlight filters through adjacent foliage and passes through the ceiling apertures, dappled leaf shadows dance across the walls and floors, seamlessly bringing a touch of nature indoors.

Night vs. Day Persona Architecture & Interiors

What sets PHOTON PAVILION – S2H – OFFICE apart is its dual personality:

  1. By Day: The building functions as an active solar harvester, filtering sunlight into dynamic, geometric patterns that eliminate dark corners and reduce the need for artificial task lighting.

  2. By Night: The sleek, glass-heavy facade showcases the warm interior illumination, casting a subtle, elegant glow across the Sarjapura site.
